Winged happiness in an expresso cup

The Putto expresso cups make me smile.

Not sure if I should have bought more at the Page One sale yesterday, but apart from using them during a photoshoot, am not sure if I would ever use them… hmm…

I do love the bright chirpy colours (ignore the black one, reminds me of some fallen angel), and got a lime one.  Would have gotten pink if it was available. 😛

The bigger versions are called Pinion and I think I might have gotten an entire set of those if they were available at the sale… seems more practical, they can double up as dessert cups too.  But the colours are not as nice as the Putto range huh?

The other cute cup that caught my eye were these ceramic Paaper cups that look like paper cups (ha!).  Meant to be dessert cups, but after some pondering, wasn’t sure if it’s practical to serve a single scoop of ice cream to each guest… or perhaps it is?

So as you can see I’ve  a weakness for cute kitchen accessories.  I’m a sucker for Alessi too, as well as various shiny kitchen pots, pans and woks, even if I don’t cook.

    • The paper desert cups look cute, but just not too practical in real life sort of way I think… the winged cups just amuse me… not for parties methinks, since I only have 2!

  1. i chanced upon this page while searching for online sites for Page One… I managed to buy the orange pinion and I agree with u that although i prefer pastel colours, pinion size are more practical.

and I bought the paaper dessert cups just cos its so nice ! ‘papery’ yet sturdy, if u know what i mean.. i haven’t used it yet but was thinking besides desserts, they can be used for sauces, condiments during dinner and dips for chips… also can use it to store small items or jewellery…
