Is this the $1 million HDB flat? Or this one?

Update on 12 Sep: Indeed, not an EM as earlier reported by the news, but a 1,614 sqft EA located in Blk 149 @ $620psf.  See this news: Expect more million dollar resale flats in resale market

Well, not much information to go by, but based on the ads placed in Property Guru:

  • Floor area: 150 sqm / 1,614 sqft
  • Valuation: $805,000
  • Asking price: $990,000
  • High floor
  • Renovated (though I tend to take such descriptions with a huge pinch of salt)
  • Corner unit

So a COV of $195k plus valuation of $805k would make a round $1 million as reported in the news (Fancy a million-dollar HDB apartment?).

Or it could be this:

  • Floor area: 142 sqm / 1528 sqft
  • High floor
  • Renovated (though I tend to take such descriptions with a huge pinch of salt)
  • Corner unit

Could not find any executive maisonette property ad though.

Am just curious… I suppose there would be more news eventually on the first $1 million HDB given the level of interest?

  1. My Tiong Bahru shd command that kind of cov and then some!! Lol. It’s true when they say it’s renovated it’s usually dismal. I find that in Singapore people rather hv empty flats without renovation usually. It’s a reflection of the make money quick mentality and they couldn’t care less about aesthetics.
