Merry Christmas 2014

I’m not sure why it happens, but Christmas always makes me think about this blog. I think it has to do with remembering my excitement at spending the very first Christmas in our new place and the very many decorations I got that year. (You can check out my many past posts about Christmas and…

Weekend indulgences: Watching Grand Designs UK

It’s kinda become a favourite weekend activity of ours i.e. watching episodes of Grand Designs together.  Grand Designs is a British television series presented Kevin McCloud that features various homebuilding projects. It’s been around for over 10 years but it’s only recently that we found out about it when we stumbled upon an episode on Starhub’s BBC Lifestyle channel (432). Each…

A HDB owner’s musings about record breaking units

Been meaning to blog about the latest record breaking HDB unit for a while but I’ve been busy (hey, being a baby maker/incubator is tiring man). Just been super busy with a long-drawn work assignment (anticipated) and new responsibilities at work (not anticipated) that has left me with little time to spend on hobbies like…

Happy New Year 2013

Happy New Year everyone! About 55,000 tourists visit Liechtenstein every year. This blog was viewed about 530,000 times in 2012. If it were Liechtenstein, it would take about 10 years for that many people to see it. My blog had more visits than a small country in Europe!

Random thoughts: Car park cleaning rocks!

You can really see the difference before/after cleaning.  Notice how all the black markings are gone after the jet cleaning?  Amazing huh? Actually I really wish for a rooftop garden/park at my MSCP (multi-storey car park) since there is more than enough parking lots.  But until it happens, I’ll amuse myself with the regular car…
